There is also a Barbecue and Shrimp Dinner Cruise that lasts four hours and takes a trip up New River to a destination where you can enjoy all-you-can-eat shrimp and ribs. 7. Flamingo Gardens This elegant stretch of jungle in South Florida houses some of the only natural jungle growths in the state. With an open aviary, a crocodile lagoon, and plenty more to offer, visitor will find a lot to love about this unique and natural exhibit. 6. Sawgrass Recreation Park While many perceive the Everglades as swamp land, this park shows that it’s so much more. Hugh Taylor Birch State Park This 180-acre park is known for its incredible beaches and swimming. Bonnet House Museum & Gardens This is another historical estate that was built in the 1920s and was once the home of two famous artists: Frederic and Evelyn Bartlett.
