Alan S. Macken

Alan Macken has been a key player in the real estate industry of South Florida since 1986. Over the last three decades, his companies have acquired, developed, constructed, and brokered real estate projects in Dade Broward, and Palm Beach Counties as well as the Gulf Coast of Florida. Everything from single-family homes, town home communities, high-rise condos, and office buildings to large-scale retail shopping centers fill out his portfolio. It includes Palmetto Gardens Plaza, anchored by a Wal-Mart Neighborhood Store, among others. As a Principal of VCM Builders, Alan spearheads the site acquisitions, development and financial modeling and hands on in the construction and design for all Macken projects. He also pursues new opportunities and partnerships for the firm. Alan’s contributions and his relentless pursuit of perfection have been crucial to the success of the firm. Alan’s family-owned and operated Macken Realty, in business for nearly 30 years, boasts more than 160 agents out of its two offices in Aventura and Las Olas. The full-service sales and marketing brokerage is the exclusive sales agency for all Macken Companies’ projects.  

Andrew K. Verzura

Andrew Verzura is a South Florida native who has a massive amount of experience in the construction agency. His experience is used to oversee quality control for all of VCM’s projects. Together with Alan, they have earned several construction and development awards for VCM Builders. Andrew is a second-generation builder. His skills and business savvy are used to ensure that each and every project is completed to our highest standards. His role involves focusing on due diligence, analysis, budgeting, and construction management. It’s clear that Andrew has a keen understanding of the residential sector when we look at his portfolio of mixed-use facilities, communities, and custom waterfront estates. Andrew is known for his unique eye that can discern a client’s needs and help them realize the design they’re looking for.
